Ethiopia is one of the most ethnically diverse countries in the world. There are four major categories of the peoples of Ethiopia, the Semitic the Cushitic, the Omotic, and The Nilotic. Oromo, Amhara, and Tigreans are the most in population size. We have more than 80 different ethnic groups within Ethiopia and over 140 dialects.
