Blending History and Hiking

Day 01 - Arrive Addis transfer to the hotel. Afternoon city tour of Addis.

Day 02 - Fly to Axum; visit stelae field; tombs of Kings; Queen of Sheba's baths; Church near where Ark of the Covenant is kept; archaeological museum

Day 03 - Fly to Lalibela; visit 11 rock-hewn churches from the 12th century

Day 04 - Flyto Gondar; visit 17th century castles & baths of Kings; Church

Day 05 - Drive to Sankaber in Simien Nat. Park; trek for acclimatization as you might feel the altitu

Day 06 - Trek to Geech

Day 07 - Trek to Seha Gorge, Imitgogo peak then pass through the valley to Enateye Plain & reach Chenek camp.

Day 08 - Trek to Ambiko, this day it will take closer to the peak which you will reach next day.

Day 09 - Trek to RasDashen (highest peak in Ethiopia 4620m) to Ambiko

Day 10 - Trek back to Chenek

Day 11 - Be met by the car for your drive to Gondar

Day 12 - Drive to Bahir Dar, in the afternoon boat trip on Lake Tana to visit the monasteries.

Day 13 - Drive & hike to Blue Nile Falls and in the later afternoon to Addis. We recommend cultural evening out where live traditional music and traditional food will be served.

Day 14 - You will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
